Mission Statement: Mental wellness involves a connection between the mind, body and spirit. The goal at Family and Individual Therapeutic Healing, LLC is to help clients make that connection to live in peace and harmony with self and others.
I believe that when individuals become physically ill, they most often work toward improving their health through self-care or a visit to their doctor. However, many individuals neglect proper self-care by not addressing their mental health. We all experience difficult times that impact our ability to manage how we think, feel and behave. Just as physical illness can affect our mental health, so too can our mental health impact our physical health and impair our immune system. Consequently, when we are depressed or stressed, we tend to become ill easily, which in turn affects how we interact with others. I am here to assist you in making your mind, body and spirit connection for your total wellness.

I am the owner of Family And Individual Therapeutic Healing LLC. (F.A.I.T.H., LLC). I earned a Doctoral degree from the University of Akron in Counselor Education and Supervision with a specialty in couples and family therapy. I specialize in trauma therapy, couples and family therapy and mood/anxiety disorders. I have been practicing as a mental health therapist for over 20 years. I also teach college in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program to assist new counselors with their personal and professional growth and development.
I started my practice in Ohio in 2017 and upon relocating to South Carolina I maintained the name and opened in 2020. My practice is a dedication to my mentor, supervisor, teacher and friend, Faith Jones. Faith unfortunately lost her battle with cancer, but she and her family will always have a special place in my heart. Faith truly had a profound impact on my education and professional achievements and for that I will be forever grateful.
